The Dragonslayers or Dragon Slayers (竜撃隊, ryūgekitai ) are an elite group of fifteen Zaibach soldiers lead by Dilandau Albatou. Though the soldiers are young in age, they are accomplished in the arts of swordsmanship and Guymelef operation. They are very loyal to their leader, Dilandau, even though he tends to treat them roughly, talking down to them and even hitting them.
Though Dilandau often treats the Dragonslayers poorly, because his greatest fear is being alone, he fears losing even one of them. When Zongi kills Miguel, Dilandau crushes Zongi to death with his Alseides' Crima Claw in retaliation, and when Van kills the remaining Dragonslayers, Dilandau goes into an extended period of distress from losing them.
Miguel is killed in Freid by Zongi. All of the other Dragonslayers are killed by Van on the plains outside Freid.
